With a strong academic foundation that blends science and critical thinking, Dr. Carreira earned her undergraduate degree from Connecticut College before completing her medical training at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. She went on to an intensive surgical residency at Roxborough Memorial Hospital, where she served as Chief Surgical Resident, a role reserved for physicians recognized for both technical skill and leadership.
For more than a decade, Dr. Carreira has been caring for patients across Connecticut as a board-certified podiatric surgeon, affiliated with multiple hospitals and surgical centers.
