Advanced Peripheral Nerve Surgery

The doctors at Family Footcare are surgically trained in peripheral nerve surgery. Burning sensations of the toes and feet are often caused by an entrapment of one or more of the nerves in the foot and ankle area. Burning sensations in the feet are also associated with diabetes and or back problems. Diabetic peripheral neuropathy shows the same type of signs as compression neuropathy in the area of the tarsal tunnel. Having the nerve freed up in this area oftentimes relieves those pins and needles type of feeling. If you have numbness, burning, or pins and needles type of symptoms, contact us for a thorough examination and see if you would be a candidate for outpatient nerve surgery.
